A prompt editor for Windows that works offline

TPEE is a desktop prompt engineering editor. It breaks a prompt into thirteen named sections, scores it from 0 to 100 against the thing you are actually asking for, and exports it in the shape your IDE, CLI or agent harness expects. It runs on your PC, it never calls out, and you buy it once.

What you get, plainly

Why an offline editor is a different product

Most prompt tools are a website with a login. That is a fine shape for a team that wants shared templates and does not mind a subscription. It is the wrong shape if what you are writing is the part of your work that is worth keeping.

How it fits an afternoon

  1. Draft. Type into the thirteen sections - or paste a prompt you already have and let the editor show you which sections are empty.
  2. Score. Read the 0-100 figure and the one or two sections dragging it down. Fix those, not the whole document.
  3. Export. Choose your tool and copy. The export carries the same text the Copy button does, in the form that tool actually parses.

Questions a buyer actually asks

What is TPEE?

TPEE is a Windows desktop application for writing and scoring prompts for large language models. It breaks a prompt into thirteen named sections, scores it from 0 to 100 and exports it for whichever IDE, CLI or agent harness you use. It runs offline.

Does it work without an internet connection?

Yes, entirely. TPEE makes no network call while you work: the only two outbound requests in the whole program are a release check you can switch off and a feedback form you have to press Send on yourself. You can confirm it with a firewall rule.

Is there a free trial?

Yes - fourteen days, the full editor, no credit card and no account. Updates are not included during the trial; they begin with a licence.

What does it cost?

One-time: Student USD $49, Starter USD $99, Professional USD $299. Each includes an updates window of 4, 6 or 12 months. After that the app keeps working forever; extending the updates window is optional.

Which Windows versions?

Windows 10 and Windows 11, 64-bit. There is no macOS or Linux build, and that is a fact rather than a roadmap.

Does it run prompts for me?

No. TPEE prepares the prompt - structure, quality, format, the right export shape for your tool. You still send it to whichever model you choose, in whichever application you already use.

Is the installer signed?

The release on sale is code-signed with an EV certificate issued to Toptronic Ltd, and its SHA-256 digest is published on the security page so you can check the file you downloaded.

What happens to my data?

Nothing leaves your PC. Prompts, templates, projects and scores are local JSON files beside the application. There is no account, no telemetry and no analytics on this website either.
