Build 398 · 3 October 2026
A News page, and the real team crests
The web site now has a News tab, sitting between Papers and FAQ. It lists the most recent builds in plain words, newest first, so you can see what changed and why without reading technical notes. The home page carries a new line above the app preview: more than forty years of experience went into TPEE. Inside the app, the emblems used by the team builder are now the real club and team crests.
-
Build 397 · 3 October 2026
The web site can now demonstrate three app features
The web site's home page can now show and hide the on-boarding checklist, and it demonstrates the Clipboard-Clear all button beside Copy to Clipboard and Preview. The location panel's show and hide toggle is shown too. In the app, one model from NVIDIA had been counted under the wrong company, so the number of AI suppliers now reads a correct twenty-two.
-
Build 396 · 3 October 2026
Course calendar settings are checked more thoroughly
The course calendar's weekday toggles, growth allowance and days-off list are now saved and reloaded by automatic checks, so a setting cannot quietly fail to be kept. The twelve translated manuals now say the app ships 140 themes in 7 groups and that it can use fonts installed in Windows. The refund policy now states what a refund costs, and the back office now lists what still has to be done before a release can be published.
-
Build 395 · 2 October 2026
The prompt size shown now matches what you copy
When the optional Top of Prompt and Bottom of Prompt editors are switched on, the character and word counts and the model-fit bar were too low. They now include those two boxes, so the size shown matches what Copy to Clipboard actually copies. The web site now says the prompt has fourteen sections and explains the two optional editors.
-
Build 394 · 2 October 2026
The start-up update check now asks you first
When the app starts and finds a newer release, the update box now opens by itself and offers Download and Install, Remind me later, or Skip this release. A copy that is already up to date leaves a short note in the status bar. The back office can now show which customers actually downloaded a release.
-
Build 393 · 2 October 2026
The update check now says if your purchase covers it
The Check for Updates box now says plainly whether your purchase includes the release on offer, and why no download was provided when it does not. The web site's prices are now 49 for students and job seekers, 99 for Starter, 299 for Professional, and 299 for The Gift of the Future. Two gaps in the course organiser's automatic checks were closed.
-
Build 392 · 2 October 2026
Course lengths no longer count lessons you cannot see
If you picked the whole course and then switched to a language with fewer lessons, the course organiser counted lessons that were not in that language. Its lesson totals, finish estimate and done counter now count only the lessons actually on screen. Some out-of-date numbers on the web site were corrected too.
-
Build 391 · 2 October 2026
The course estimate is smoother on long courses
The course organiser's finish estimate redid the same work once for every lesson on every screen refresh, which slowed long courses down. It now prepares that information once, so the estimate updates more smoothly. Ten more parts of the course organiser are now covered by automatic checks.
-
Build 390 · 2 October 2026
Your course plan is safer to save and reload
If a course file cannot be read, the app now keeps it instead of overwriting it, and every save is written safely so a crash cannot leave a half-saved file. Dark Mode now themes the course organiser correctly. Several wrong readings in the plan were fixed, including the hint that a schedule had been edited.
-
Build 389 · 2 October 2026
Plan your course dates with the new calendar
The course organiser now has a calendar where you choose which weekdays you teach and list your days off. A month grid marks teaching days and days off, and one line tells you whether the days you have set aside are enough for the course. You can add a growth allowance so the finish date accounts for lessons you will add later.
-
Build 388 · 2 October 2026
Smaller team badges and one scroll bar for themes
The team badges in the Sports themes are now the same height as the country flags beside them, so each team reads as one tidy line. The whole Themes menu now has a single scroll bar, so the last theme groups are reachable. The course organiser was reviewed and thirteen problems in it were fixed.
-
Build 387 · 2 October 2026
The course organiser and more team themes
The classroom window gains a course organiser for lecturers. Enter the course name and location, set the start and end, keep a day schedule of lessons and breaks, and tick each bullet point and lesson done as you teach, with the time recorded. It estimates the hours and teaching days and saves your progress on this computer. The Sports themes also gained fifty-two more teams, and every team badge was redrawn.
-
Build 386 · 2 October 2026
More team themes and clearer team badges
Thirty-six more Sports teams were added across rugby, soccer, football and Formula 1. Every team badge was redrawn larger and in the shape of its sport, so the row of pictures in the Themes menu is easier to recognise. The app also gained a Command Code option, which had been missing from its tool lists.
-
Build 385 · 2 October 2026
More team themes and the missing Hermes tool entry
Twenty more Sports team themes were added, and every team row now shows its country flag on the left and its team badge on the right. The app's list of tools you can aim a prompt at gained a missing entry, the Hermes command line. Nothing is downloaded; the flags and badges are files that travel with the app.
-
Build 384 · 1 October 2026
The Sports themes now have their teams
The Sports theme sections now contain real teams instead of placeholders: five rugby teams, four soccer teams, four football teams and four Formula 1 teams. Each row shows the team's country flag to the left of its name. Every team uses its own club colours.
-
Build 383 · 1 October 2026
A Sports theme section and all your Windows fonts
The Themes menu has a new Sports section with four sub-sections, and the Springboks theme is the first one inside rugby, using South Africa's green and gold. The font list now offers every font installed in Windows, not just a small built-in set. Choosing a built-in font again restores the original ones.
-
Build 382 · 2 October 2026
More translations and corrected manual figures
Counts such as the number of tools, models and lessons were brought up to date across the translated manuals, and missing table rows were filled in. Spanish became the next language to receive the newer tool-selector section. Two helper programs used with the web site work again.
-
Build 381 · 1 October 2026
Unused template feature removed and tips finished
An old save-as-template feature that could no longer be reached was removed cleanly, and three unused windows were deleted. Twenty-three controls that had no hover explanation were given one. The manual and the tool reference table were corrected to match.
-
Build 380 · 1 October 2026
Save Now shows red or green, and About shows v1.1.0
The duplicated un-saved strip at the top of the window was removed at the owner's request. The Save Now button is now red while you have un-saved changes and green once everything is saved, with clear readable text on both colours. The version shown under Help, About now reads v1.1.0 as it should.
-
Build 379 · 1 October 2026
A bolder un-saved marker that suits your theme
The version number moves to 1.1.0. The app now draws its own title strip with the logo, the app name, the file name and, while there are un-saved changes, a bold un-saved word. The marker stays readable on every theme because its colours adjust to the theme.
-
Build 378 · 1 October 2026
More papers and dictionary entries
The learning timeline gained sixty-six more papers, taking it to 1,505 papers spanning 174 years. The Dictionary of AI grew from 68 to 84 entries, with sixteen new terms and six older ones corrected. The app's last reachable hover explanation gap, on the Print Preview sidebar, was filled.
-
Build 377 · 30 September 2026
A selector for the tool you aim a prompt at
A new box sits between the command-line choice and the model choice, letting you say which tool the prompt is aimed at. The lists of editors, command-line tools, models and their limits were refreshed, including a new supplier and eleven new models. Three new lessons were added to the learning centre.
-
Build 376 · 30 September 2026
The on-boarding list now checks things for you
The on-boarding checklist has grown from twenty-two steps to twenty-six and can now look at the app and mark the steps it can verify, such as whether folders are set and which prompt sections hold text. A new button ticks every step the app can already see, and another opens the working folder dialog. The check only reads; it never changes your work.
-
Build 375 · 30 September 2026
Setting up a project folder is a three-step guide
The window for making a new project folder now works in three clear steps. It first shows whether a working folder is already set and lists the drives on your computer with the kind of drive each one is. You then choose a folder and name it, and the whole path is shown before anything is created.
-
Build 374 · 30 September 2026
The Project menu is simpler and clearer
The tab called Projects and Templates is now just called Project. Four items were removed from it, including the old buttons for making a working folder and for opening the separate project configurator. The old Template and Project Manager window is no longer part of the app.
-
Build 373 · 30 September 2026
Flags and a search box in the language menus
Each language in the app's Languages menu now starts with the flag of the country where it is spoken. The web site's language chooser gained the same flags and a box to filter the list. One hundred and five languages are covered by ninety-five flag pictures.
-
Build 372 · 30 September 2026
The un-saved marker is now a word, not a star
The window title used to show a star when there were un-saved changes. It now shows the word un-saved in whichever of the thirteen languages you have chosen. The Languages menu also gained a box to filter its long list.
-
Build 371 · 30 September 2026
Every hover explanation now names its help page
Some hover explanations were being built in a way the earlier check could not see, so twenty-seven of them did not name the help page the F1 key opens. They now all name it. Four help cards and three manual paragraphs were corrected against what the app really does.
-
Build 370 · 29 September 2026
Hover tips now say which help page F1 opens
Every hover explanation in the app now ends by naming the help page that the F1 key will open, so pressing F1 after hovering always gives the right one. Two hundred and twenty places were updated. Three windows that no user can ever open were labelled as such in the app's own notes.
-
Build 369 · 29 September 2026
Applying and removing templates now asks first
Two buttons in the template and project manager that could replace your whole prompt or unlink a template now ask you to confirm before they act. The right-click Clear action on a prompt section also asks first. Seventy-one more hover explanations were updated to name their help page.
-
Build 368 · 29 September 2026
Greyed controls explain themselves, more confirmations
When a control is greyed out, hovering it now tells you why, which it could not do before. Four more actions that change or delete your work, including clearing completed tasks and loading a saved prompt, now ask before they act. Ninety-eight hover explanations in single-window areas were updated to name their help page.
-
Build 367 · 29 September 2026
Confirmations for Replace All and Delete Project
Replace All, which rewrites every match across all twelve prompt sections, now asks for a second click before it runs. Deleting a project asks first as well. The five tick rows on the Preferences menu now show their explanation and open the right help page whether you hover the words or the tick box.
-
Build 366 · 29 September 2026
Switch two layout features on from Preferences
The Preferences menu gained two tick boxes. One turns the optional Top of Prompt and Bottom of Prompt editors on or off, and the other shows or hides the panel that lists your working folders. Both choices are remembered the next time you open the app.
-
Build 365 · 29 September 2026
Checked every button on the running app
Twenty-four controls and menu rows were driven on the built app and each answered with the right help page and hover explanation. Nine controls whose help key gave the wrong page, including the quality row under four prompt sections, were fixed. Deleting a team project now asks before it removes the file, and the manuals were brought into line.
-
Build 364 · 28 September 2026
The Top of Prompt heading adds your working folder
The optional Top of Prompt editor now opens with a fifth line stating your working folder and that work should stay inside it. The folder is quoted exactly as you typed it. Headings written by earlier versions are still recognised and brought up to date.
-
Build 363 · 29 September 2026
The folder panel gains a working folder row
The panel that lists your folders gained a row at the top for the working folder. Two other rows were renamed to Path for Prompts and Path for TPEE Settings, and the show and hide button now names all five paths in the same words everywhere. The new folder is saved and shown, but nothing else uses it yet.
-
Build 362 · 29 September 2026
The Bottom of Prompt adds a closing instruction
The optional Bottom of Prompt editor now opens with two lines asking the model to write up this session's chats and actions, and to record what the next session needs to know, each saved with the right file name and folder. The wording is reproduced exactly as the owner wrote it.
-
Build 361 · 28 September 2026
The Top of Prompt heading adds a second read line
The optional Top of Prompt editor now has a fourth line telling the model to read this session's own start record. Its file name follows the number in the current file's name, and its folder is the one set for session start records. Both read lines move together when you create the next prompt.
-
Build 360 · 28 September 2026
The Top of Prompt heading adds a read line
The optional Top of Prompt editor now opens with a third line telling the model to read the previous session's chat and action log. The number in that file name is one below the number in the current file name. The heading moves with the file name when you create the next prompt.
-
Build 359 · 28 September 2026
The Top of Prompt heading now shows the session
When you switch the optional editors on, the Top of Prompt box now opens with two lines: the session number taken from the current file name, and your project prefix. The heading follows the file name when you create the next prompt. Anything you type below the heading is left untouched.
-
Build 358 · 28 September 2026
Create Next Prompt moves beside the file name
The Create Next Prompt button now sits on the file name row, just to the left of the File Name label. The box for the project prefix now shrinks or grows to fit the text you type, so it no longer leaves wasted space. Nothing else about these controls changed.
-
Build 357 · 28 September 2026
Create Next Prompt now shows it worked
The Create Next Prompt button now glows gold at rest, pulses blue under the pointer, and flashes green for a few seconds after it really makes a new prompt. The File Name box it changes flashes blue at the same time. Two folder labels were corrected to their proper names, and existing settings still load as before.
-
Build 356 · 27 September 2026
Two more folder rows in the location panel
The location panel now holds four folder rows instead of two. The two new rows, for chat and action logs and for session start records, sit above the existing two, and the one show and hide button governs all four. The folders are stored and shown, but nothing else uses them yet.
-
Build 355 · 27 September 2026
Resize the lecturer's notes while presenting
In the classroom window you can now drag the bar between the slide and the lecturer's notes to give the notes more or less room. Dragging up shows more notes, dragging down gives the slide more space, and a double-click resets it. Several help cards and manual lines were corrected in the same pass.
-
Build 354 · 27 September 2026
A lecturer's notes pane in the classroom window
The classroom window gained a Lecturer Notes button, off until you switch it on. With it on, a pane opens under the slide showing the lesson's aim, its review questions with answers, and the title of the lesson that follows. The pane is read only and works in every translated course.
-
Build 353 · 27 September 2026
Clearer help inside the learning windows
One hundred and one hover explanations inside the learning windows only said to press F1 without saying which page it opens, and they now name the page. A broken German lesson and the level words in four translated courses were repaired. A fault that could permanently shrink the lesson list was fixed.
-
Build 352 · 27 September 2026
Control the slides with a clicker
The classroom window gained a Keys button. While it is on, the slides respond to the keys a wireless presentation clicker sends, such as Page Down, Page Up, the arrow keys, Home and End. It is off by default and does nothing while you are typing in a text box.
-
Build 351 · 27 September 2026
Lessons gain worldwide workplace examples
All ninety-one lessons now carry ten examples each, drawn from different industries and naming no particular country, currency or local measure, so learners anywhere can follow them. The examples change with your chosen language only where the lesson bodies are translated. Help pages and hover explanations across the learning area were checked and corrected.
-
Build 350 · 27 September 2026
Slides you can click, and a projector test pattern
The highlighted bullet on a slide now uses your chosen theme's colours and stays readable on a projector. You can highlight any bullet by clicking it, as well as with the arrow buttons. Double-clicking the window's title strip maximizes or restores it, and the test-pattern tool gained an alignment target for setting up a projector.
-
Build 349 · 27 September 2026
Highlighted bullets are readable on any theme
The highlighted bullet on a slide used to draw its text in the theme's own colour, which on some themes left it nearly invisible. It now draws the text and the band together, with colours chosen to stay well above the readability threshold for large text. The same fix applies whether Dark Mode is on or off.
