Bigger or newer models often reason better, but they cost more and may be slower. Cheap models are excellent for drafts, summaries, and simple transformations.

Use the API Character Limits and model reference panels to understand context, price, and release notes before choosing a model.

A professional workflow often uses a fast model for first drafts and a stronger model for final review.
