Understand LM Studio as a separate local model application.

The lesson

LM Studio is a Windows-friendly desktop application for downloading and running local models. It can also expose a local OpenAI-compatible server if the user chooses.

TPEE must not enable or call that server. The user may copy a TPEE prompt into LM Studio manually, or use TPEE to document which local model they intend to use.

LM Studio is useful for privacy experiments, hardware testing, and teaching because students can see model, quantisation, RAM, and token speed effects directly.
