35. OpenClaw and Personal Agent Gateways
Understand OpenClaw-style products and where they fit in the AI workflow.

The lesson
OpenClaw-style products are personal AI agent gateways. They can connect a user's AI assistant to messaging apps, files, shell tools, browsers, calendars, and other workflows.
The important idea is persistence: the agent can have memory, identity, scheduled routines, and tool access. This is more powerful and riskier than a normal chat window.
Similar products and patterns include Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Cursor agents, OpenCode, Kiro, Qwen coding agents, and chat-bound coding harnesses. They differ in interface, tool access, approvals, persistence, and how much autonomy they allow.
TPEE does not run OpenClaw or any similar product. TPEE teaches users to write clear prompts, safety rules, permission boundaries, and review checklists before they paste instructions into those tools.
